Our specialised service focuses on providing fire doors that meet the specific standards and certifications necessary to effectively contain fires and we prioritise door materials through our trusted UK based manufacturers. Qmark certification is conducted in 2 parts;
Manufacturing
Door assemblies are stringently tested to gain their fire certification. The above is only valid if the door assembly is stored, handled and installed correctly.
Installation
Only a Qmark Registered Company can offer part 2. When installed by ourselves full Third Party Certification is achieved and Record of Installation forms are produced.
Purchasing an expensive Certified Doorset doesn’t mean the Customer has Third Party Certification, this is only possible if it is installed by a Certified Installation Company.
When an order has been placed doorsets are procured immediately. On arrival in Jersey they can be sent sent straight to site, alternatively we can store them within our controlled environment stores ready for site delivery and fire door installation. Storage of doorsets on-site for long periods can lead to damage and moisture ingress, deliveries to site should be left as late possible on the project to avoid issues at a later date.
